Well hello, from a stranger.
Thought I would pop in and say hi, sorry no cards. mojo is still AWOL.
Took me a little while to get into my account as I had forgotten my password. Actually I had changed it and forgot I had.
Anyway life is slowly getting better.
Got myself a job and loving it.
Christmas is fast approaching and me not organised as normal. Its going to be very different for us this year. But you know what we will enjoy it.
I am starting to get itchy fingers now.Thinking more about my crafting, just not produced anything.
So maybe in the new year I will have something to show you.
Hope everyone is well and ready for Christmas.

I just felt I needed to pop here and let you all know I am still alive.
Sorry I have not been posting over the last few months.
Some people know why. I will just say that my Life has been turned upside down and my crafting has all been put away for now, hopefully I will find the interest in it again one day.
But at this time I have no interest what so ever.
I have tried going to see crafty friends, I have purchased mags etc etc in the hope that it helps my mojo return.
But instead I have a barrier come up and it stops me.

I do pop and look at peeps blogs now and then.
I am plodding along taking each day as it comes as that's the best way for me at this time.
big hugs to all my crafting friends and blog followers.
I will return just don't know when.

Mothers day

Good morning all. And a very happy Mother's day to all you yummy mummy's. Hope you all have a wonderful day and get spoilt. My two Babies are taking me out for lunch today. So looking forward to it.

Anyway I just wanted to show you the cards I made for my mum and my mother law. I love them both dearly.

For the first time I have had ago at the twisted easel cards.

Using Bearly mine papers and also made my own flowers

and the box to put them in. I actually prefer making these square boxes to the bigger ones.

I done it!

Woopppiieee I done it. I managed to post a card everyday this week.

I would like to think I could keep it up, But with working from home and normal day to day activities I just never know.

Tonight we are out with our son and his girlfriend and the in laws for a nice steak.

The biggest steak this place serves is 32oz if you can eat it with all the trimmings you get it free.

No I wont be having one of them. I love steak but no way could I eat one that big.

I plan to having a crafting day tomorrow , so hopefully I can get ahead with a few cards for next week.

Today's card I am not that happy with. I may have to have a play with it and add something.

Sketch Saturday

I had a make a card for a friends mum, who is going to be 80. She told me she likes cats and loves knitting. So I thought I would use an image I have had for god knows how long and never used. At the same time I would use Sketch Saturdays Sketch.

I made the knitting embellishment using cocktails sticks, which I cut in half and added a pearl to one end.

I them sanded the other end to a point. then set to work and knitted a few rows. which I can tell ya was not easy.

Trying to get my mojo back

Good morning all. Well I am trying my hardest to find my mojo. I just cant make a card from start finish at the mo. I seem to find a image, take god knows how long to decide what colours I am gong to use. This image seemed to take me 3 hrs to decide. Then last night I spent the evening deciding on papers and colours. This morning I printed off the papers. And then I decided I would work with a sketch.

It may have taken me alot longer to make this card than my norm. But I am pleased with the outcome and it's the first time I have used a Kenny K image as well. Like alot of my digi's they sit unused .

Such a proud mum

Oh I am so proud of my youngest.

Hayley started a apprenticeship course in hairdressing last September. she goes to college on a Monday then rest of week works in a shop.

She just goes from strength to strength.

Anyway the last few months she has been preparing for a competition at college. She had been let down a couple a times by models and only found someone that promised she wouldn't let her down 2 weeks ago.

Anyway to was d day and she came ...................................................

3rd in her group.

She came out of college grinning from cheek to cheek tonight when I picked her up.

The theme she had to do was Glam rock chic, she also had to choose clothes and do make up.

Good Morning all.Well I have had a good weekend. And At last I think I may have found my mojo again. well fingers crossed . I sat down yesterday afternoon and got today's card made. that's better than what I did last week. I also got another dt card made for Thursday. Now today I have to get two birthday cards made for my nephew's 6th birthday, which is tomorrow.Bless him. He is just getting into football, and his parents aren't into it. So it's our chance to guide him into who he should be supporting. So going to pop into town later and getting him some spurs things for his birthday.

Good morning all. hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend.

Today I am remembering my dear dad. It's been 2 years today since he passed away. I was doing really well until I logged onto Facebook and see a family member had posted something. And the tears came.

I so miss him and the these last few days I have so been missing him, I been needing one of his warm cuddles.

I am going to spend the day thinking about all the good times we had. going to mum's later to spent some time with her.

Good morning all. Well that's it Christmas done and dusted for another year. Whats 2011 going to bring. A good one for all I hope. I have now packed away all the decs for another year. Lounge looks so bare now.

Just left with lots of chocs and tins of roses. not good cos as soon as I take that lid of I just cant stop.

Good morning all. I sit here having some peace before the rest of the house get up. It's lovely. I am itching to it get started again on making cards after having a little break. But cant do much at the mo as I have to put all my craft stuff away until Christmas is over. But I think I may have to go and find my pens and some stamps and do some colouring.

I hope everyone has had a fab Christmas and would like to THANK everyone for all the wonderful comments you have all left over the year.

Our snow is melting nicely now. thank god.

Now as I have nothing new to show you at the moment I thought I would just show you a few of my favorite cards I have made over the year.

After uploading these I noticed that most cards with Tilda on all are ones using sweet Tilda. something tells me that this stamp must be one of my favs. Note to self use other Tilda stamps next year..

Good morning ladies from a very cold and frosty Cambridge. What a busy day I had on Saturday. Doing a buffet for 60 for a wedding and then I had a 30th birthday party on Saturday evening. And we had to take our Little dog Tazz to the vets. He has a bad ear infection. so good loads of meds for him. And a nice bill of £125.

This is our little Tazz he has got his 2nd birthday coming up this month.

Morning ladies. Well up till this morning we hadn't had any snow, apart from a light dusting on Saturday morning. But it has been really cold. Just as I pulled into the drive after dropping my daughter at park and ride this morning it started to snow. Morning all from a very wet and windy Cambridge. I think I will stay in the warm today. It really isn't nice out. Even the dog walked backwards away from the door, and looked up at me as if to say, your not going out there so why should I. lol

Card Party

Last night I took all my cards around to mother in laws, she also held a chocoholics party too. She had a fab turn out of people. And I made a nice little bit on my cards which I was well chuffed with.
And I ordered some yummy chocs too. Roll on 2 weeks when I can have a good pig out lol. Got some banana flavoured choc coming, thought it sounded yum, lets hope so.

Bearly mine are on the look out to expand their Design team. And I just could not enter. As I love the papers that Donna makes.

A Couple of Commissioned cards

I really need to pull my finger out as I have so many card orders to do its unreal. These to I have made today are what my sister in law has ordered .
I have been struggling getting into my cards these last couple of days as I have woke 3 mornings on trot with a headache. Today was the first day I woke with a clear head, but this last hour I have started feeling heading. prob some kind of virus.

On top of having lots of card orders, I also have a card party coming up in October. To which I thought I would get the knitting needles out and knit some scarves. As I thought its that time of year coming so why not knit a few, who knows they might sell.

I am using Wendy wisp featherlight chunky wool. If that means anythng to you.

I haven't done any knitting for years. but doing ok. using chunky needles too. did have to sit for a while and try and remember how to cast off at the end. but got there eventually.

Hope Everyone is having a good day even if the weather is dull, wet and cold.

Think I am now going to have a cup of tea, and a cpl of painkillers.

Morning all. Cant believe its Thursday already. where ever has this week gone.
Roll on the weekend that's all I can say. I would also like to say a big THANK YOU to you all for dropping by my blog and leaving me lovely comments, I love to read them. And apologise if I don't always get to everyone and leave comments back.

Morning ladies, looking abit dull here today in Cambridge. Not planning on doing much today apart from resting, I am think I have a trapped nerve in my back, and not moving very quick as the pain is horrid. Trying not to take the painkillers if I can help it as they make me feel high, and don't like it. so lets hope the resting it will get better.

Where has August gone. It dont seem like five mins ago that Kathy asked me to be a designer for her. And I made Augusts card.
Totally loving the sketch she has come up with for this month.

Fairymoon Crafts Sketch 30

Well our weekend away wasn't as good as it could have been. Rain and wind. Every time we ventured out it rained. So we all came to agreement on Sunday evening to come home. which in some ways was good as we missed all the traffic on the Monday. We enjoyed the little break we had so that was the main thing. And good part was we managed to enjoy the lovely sunshine we had at home on the Monday.
Anyway my card for today is for the Fairymoon sketch challenge. One challenge that I haven't done in a while due to holidays.

Crafty sentiments ..... Summer inspiration

Now I have my fingers crossed that this will work as I had scheduled it on Friday evening. I am away for the weekend.oh I hope we have sunshine, I am hoping that we will get to go for nice walks on the beach. charged my camera so hopefully I can get some good pics.

I have some exciting news to share with you there is going to be some changes made over at Crafty Sentiments.... the Stamp Team and the Digi Team are joining together to became one team over a Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog!

As September is approaching we will be changing our challenge day too, THURSDAYS.
For those of you who follow us over at the digi blog, We hope you will join in with us too! and don't panic the digi blog will become our Tutorial Blog, as I know you all like our fab team's tutorials, so please still pop in as we appreciate your comments.

Last Week in less than 24 hours I found out I had been accepted onto not 1 but 2 design teams. How chuffed was I.
The first being Kathy's waffle sketch file.

Crafty Sentiments Digi Design Challenge 5

Morning all this weeks challenge is to make a Tag.
Rules of this challenge are
Only one entry please
you can also enter into other blogs challenges
PLEASE LINK you creation back to the Crafty sentiments digi design blog
we only want to see your challenge entry not your whole blog
No linking back to previous work, it must be a new one.
For my tag I have used Boo bear with balloons
I printed Boo bear on to some card, with my sentiment on either side of him.
I coloured him with copics and the whole balloon. I then printed a second boo bear and cut out the balloons and boo's head, Which I then decoupages up . I think he is such a sweet bear. I then added the yellow ribbon to the bottom of the balloon.

Fairymoon Challenge 29

Good Morning all. We have beautiful sunshine here today in Cambridge. hopefully it will stay. It was so bright this morning it woke me up before 6am. So I got up and got this card made for the Fairymoon challenge.
This week I am doing the challenge, As Pina and Mandy are going on their travels to see a new supplier. They are being spoil sports and not sharing where.So just got to wait and see .
Anyway this week I thought I would do something different.

Whiff of Joy.

On Saturday I received my prize for guessing where Lisa Jane was on her hols. Along with some Turkish delight, she also added some crafty bits. I have to say the Turkish delight didn't last long as I loveeeeeeeeeeeee it.THANK YOU LISA. Anyway in amongst the crafty bits was a stamp. And how pleased was I with this as I don't own any whiff of joy stamps. so it had to be done, this afternoon I have sat and made a card using this stamp.

The challenge was called Fuzz.This can be felt, flower soft, fun flock, just anything fuzzy. The Design Team had a blast with this so look very closely at there cards, there is fuzzy flowers, balls, flower soft, fun flock.

Abit of a delay here for me this week on this challenge card. Have had such a busy few days. And today is a me day sort off.
Anyway this weeks Fairymoon challenge is to follow the sketch below and it has to be a Christmas theme.
Me making a Christmas before september wow shock horror.

For my card I have used Magnolia Santa. I have coloured him with Copics, I paper pieced his coat and glove with Papermania signature papers A Christmas carol vellum

Also I used polar white flower soft for the trim of his hat and glove.

Crafty Sentiments digital design BLOG HOP

So the challenge for this is to make something other

than a card.with a sun and sea theme.

so here's what I came up with.

I made this clock using a old CD. I printed the sun from the net. The mermaid I coloured with copic at you Spica glitter pen. and used a copic for the sea. The clock mechanism I purchased a cpl of years ago to make a clock with parchment. but never finished it as yet.

I thought taking a close up of the mermaid might show the glitter , but sadly it doesn't.

I am entering these 2 cards into Kathy's waffle Sketch file, as she is looking for 2 designers.
You had to make 2 cards using her sketches and one had to be with this months sketch.

my take on this card

For this card I paper pieced the dress,top and Bows in her hair and coloured the rest with copics
