Fairymoon Crafts Challenge 16

This week there isn't a Magnolia in sight on this card. I have done something I have never done before. And really enjoyed it.
On the 8th may, myself and 2 other DT's are doing a demo day at fairymoon crafts shop. So I have also spent some time getting a few bits ready for that. I am looking forward to it, but at the same time nervous as I have never done anything like this before.
Anyway my card for this week followed the weekly sketch and also combined it with a colour combo of Red/White/Yellow.



Used the red card as a Base colour, I then stamped a piece of white card with a flourishes stamp using yellow from colorbox,then lightly blended the background with the same colour. Cut into 9 equal squares and layered onto white card. layered this onto the red, and finished of with a nestibilities rectangle stamped with best wishes,and yellow bow.

Wow where has the weekend gone. Had a lovely weekend doing abit of crafting on both day.
Saturday Night I had to take my daughter to out of hours doctors.She has Tonsillitis.so she hasn't been up to much over the weekend. hopefully today she will start feeling abit better, as the antibiotics should be working now.

Just Magnolia but not entered

Crumbs I am late getting this one done. dont know why as I haven't been busy this week as such.
I started slimming world last wednesday..........last night I had my first weigh in....and was chuffed to bits to have lost 3llb. so if anyone else does this and has any good recipes then let me know, as I am still learning. I had plans last night to get the extra easy recipe book, but they never had any. so hopefully next week I will get that.

Fairymoon Crafts sketch 15

Crumbs where has today gone. Got this card made yesterday and this is the first chance I have had to get it on here.
I have given my kitchen a spring clean today. so it now sparkles, well sort of, seems a shame to have to go in there to do some cooking lol.
And the weather has been gorgeous here in Cambridge shire today , lets hope it stays all week(I whispered that lol).

What a wonderful day

Well I am officially 40 now.
What a fab day I have had, had loads of wonderful presents and lots of flowers. so much so that I have had to resort to a pint glass. But they are all Beautiful.
I can honestly say I have been well and truly spoilt.
I did have to take my daughter to have an interview at college this afternoon. She wants to do a apprenticeship in hairdressing . She has found a hairdressers that will take her on, it all just depended on the outcome of the college interview.........And the outcome was................
She has been accepted there to. So now she cant wait to get started.And we are over the moon for her.
Got back about 5ish and she cooked 6 of us streak with all the trimmings and it was yummyyyyyyyy. We have got Mississippi mud pie for pudding, but I just cant fit that in at the mo.

Anyway as for my BLOG CANDY

I can not believe I am going to be 40 next month.
Kids no longer independent on me, and my youngest is doing GCSE's this year. no more parents evenings.
It was bad enough when they left primary school as you lose contact with lots of people.
Anyway I have decided as its my 40th I would give some blog candy.
I am going to have a party with close family and friends, nothing to big.just a shame that my darling dad wont be there to have a drink with me. but know he will be there in spirit and watch us all making fools of ourselves after one to many drinks.

Well as some of you know, I had my 40th Party Saturday night. What a fab night, yes I had a little to much to drink. But hey why not its not every day ya 40, ok got a few days to go yet.
Sambuccas went down well anyway.
It was fab to have all my close family and friends there to celebrate with me.
This is my cake that my wonderful mother in law got her neighbour to make.

Busy Busy

Well I have woke this morning to it pouring done outside.The Dog wont even go out.
Up nice an early as tonight I am having my 40th party. And need to pop to tescos to get last bits, you know the last bits that you cant get until the day.
So plans are to go there just after 8, before it gets to busy, drop my daughter at work afterwards. Come home and get stuck in to sorting buffet.Not doing anything special as most peeps would have eaten. Lunch time go and pick up helium balloons and keys for village hall, then I am going to get that set up, come home and hopefully relax for a couple of hours, have a nice soak in bath etc etc. Then its Party party party. So looking forward to having my family together, as we haven't all been together since last January when I lost my dad. Who I wish was going to be with us tonight. I shall have a cpl of drinks for him, but I know he will will there in spirit.
Right better go and give daughter another shout, she don't seem to be in any hurry this morning.
