Its still here

My mojo that is. Today I got sorted out early as I wanted to pop to the local craft shop as they had a demo on.
got my good bag, and the Poppy stamps and stickers.
Came home and done the Ironing, which shocked me more than anything. Me and Ironing aren't the best of friends. but its done and out the way.
Had my lunch and got to work.
Only made 2 cards as I started to get abit of neck ache, shows I haven't done much card making in a long it.

used the build it up poppy from papermania, used the 2 little poppy stamps to do the background, good old nessies and happy birthday stamp.

Below is a close up of the poppy

this next card is made using papers and toppers from a past making cards magazine.

Wot's going on

I wish I knew.
I haven't made a card for weeks and really have no interest in making any. I want to but just cant find my mojo. I have even been out and treated myself to xmas bits in the hope it would get me back into it.All the bits I purchased are still sitting in the bag. I have purchased mags and been looking at blogs and still nothing. its doing my head in.
on another note on the 23rd of Aug we went to a mowtown concert with some friends.
It was a wonderful afternoon/evening. And I was lucky enough to get my photo taken with a cpl of singers.

Alexander O'neal

Eddie Amoo Lead singer from The Real Thing.

we also see Heatwave,Rose Royce, Glenn Jackson as Michael Jackson he was on Britains got talent back in 2006, Aswad and also some tribute bands. A was a wonderful.

well thats me done for now, and lets hope I soon find some mojo to make some cards.
fingers crossed.

Shapeabilities Renaissance Hearts

I went to my local craft shop at the weekend and they had in some of the new Shapeabilities. Excellent I thought treat myself to the Fleur de Lis pendant. but sadly they had already sold out of that one.so instead I got the Renaissance hearts.
After playing with it for a while this is what I came up with. I am pleased with the out come and look forward to purchasing more of these as I am loving them.

just got to finish it off with a sentiment, not decided yet what I will put on it.
right going to catch up on some of my friends blogs now, as I haven't done much blogging lately
laters

Couple of weeks ago

I made these 2 cards. work as been so busy I haven't had time to play, or just not felt up to it.
This card I made for my daughter to give to Snap 4 Kids nursery to say thank you for having to do her work experience. she had a lovely time and built up a lovely relationship with many of the staff and children.

This next card I made for my mother in law to give to a neighbour, he has just lost his wife, they had been married for I believe she said 60 yrs. so sad.

I'm still alive

just been very busy with work and family life.
so I haven't done much blogging just lately.
but hey ho that's life, just wish I could have a few more hours in the day to do what I want. this month has been abit hard as it would have been my dad's birthday on the 5Th June. it was a hard day, but Andy and myself got together with mum, my sister and her hubby Paul in the evening , and we had a nice Chinese and a drink or two. it was a lovely evening. now I am struggling again as it is coming up for father's day and I have a few orders for cards, but finding it hard to get motivated to make them.
I know it will end up being a rush to make them.
I did manage to get a few hours to spend with Fred said. and here are my creations. two of them I have done similar to ones that are on Fred's blog, and the other was done following a sketch which was put on the forum of a website that my local craft shop has.
