Fairymoon sketch 21

Happy bank holiday monday to you all. wow I have been busy today and its only 12.30.
Cant believe how early I was up this morning. I woke up at 4.15,went back to sleep, woke again at 5.30, dozed and woke again at 6.15, so thought damn it I am getting up.
so made myself a nice cuppa and done abit of blog hopping and had alook on facebook.
Before I knew it it was 8am. I cooked us a nice breakfast, then out into the garden, cleaned all the weeds from the patio and Andy cut the grass. nipped to shop to get a few bits I forgot yesterday for the BBQ we are having today. got the in laws coming round. so lets hope the rain stays away.
To take part hop over to faiymoon crafts
This week is to follow the sketch and the colour combo for this week is black/white.This is the first time in a long time I have made a A5 card. Only reason I have done this is because I got some new stamps, and they wouldn't fit to the sketch on a square card.

Ingredients
Hero Arts vine scrolls
Ribbon from stash

Not alot used to make this card this week, these stamps were delivered while I was in the shop and thought they would be ideal for this weeks sketch.
This weeks challenge is the last one you can enter for the candy thats on offer. The winner will be announced next week.

Thanks for dropping by, enjoy your day

Good Afternoon

on what is a nice sunny day here in cambridgeshire. A Little wind but still nice and sunny. My daughter is away this weekend near skegness. Just had a text from her saying they have thunder, lightening and hail.Bad luck Hayley hehehehehe.

No crafting been done as yet, I have been and seen my mum this morning, then went and done the Tesco shop(how exciting).
After getting home and putting all the food away, and only just having enough room in the freezer. I cooked up a lobster, myself and hubs have never had lobster and see one for a good price. OMG it was yummy.Just not enough of it.
I also wanted to let you all know about a fab blog, that's does the most amazing Digi sets. they are gorjuss papers.
Hop over to Bearly Mine Designs
They also have a sale on this bank holiday weekend, If I am correct it finishes Monday night at midnight.
Anyway I am now going to enjoy this beautiful sunshine and family get together.

My first craft demo

Hello and I hope you are all enjoying a lazy Sunday.
Yesterday I took part in my first ever craft demo at my local craft shop. All together there was 3 or us. I have to say I was nervous as I had never done anything like this before.More of a confidence thing than anything. We made what we wanted.
we all really enjoyed ourselves and were all nervous for no reason. Had lots of customers in the shop and had a steady follow of peeps watching, learning and asking questions.
This easel card, I made in the shape of a butterfly, I had seen a tut on another blog, sorry cant remember which one off the top of my head. but thought it would go down well as it was different for a easel card. I printer of a few butterflies so customers could take one as a template if they wanted. Have to say it did go down well, got alot of interest.

My next card was a Tent card, I had only ever made one of these before.I enjoy making these. This one just needs sometihng else one it, and will add it later in the week, I do have an idea of what I want to do.

I got my new Magnolias yesterday so had to make a card using one of them. I also had a play with the Martha Stewart Tellis punch. This also needs a sentiment added to it. but at the time I couldn't decide what I wanted to put on it.

I have one other card to add from yesterday demo day, but you will have to wait until tomorrow for that as I am using that for my Fairymoon crafts weekly challenge.
Would just like to thank Pina and Mandy for asking me to take part in the demo day and also Helen and carol who also took part too. Helen you are a nutter.
Really look forward to the next time.

thanks for dropping by.

Daughter believes in sharing.

Well as you may remember last Saturday evening I had to take my daughter to out of hrs docs, and she had tonsillitis, she then came down a cold and almost lost her voice. Then the darling little thing decided it would be nice to share the cold with me. I came out with it Thursday, and as the day went on it got worse. By 7pm that evening took myself of to bed, snuggled down and sleep on and off. Since Thursday I have hardly eaten a thing. But have drunk plenty. Today my throat is so sore its unreal, have managed a yoghurt today, that's all. I really don't fancy food at all.
So next weeks weigh in at slimming world will be interesting. Would like to think I will start feeling better tomorrow, but I don't hold out much hope there.
So now you know why I haven't posted much since Monday.
I hope everyone else is well and enjoy this long weekend. I am now going to curl up on the sofa, and have a little sleep, something else I don't seem to be getting alot of at night.
bye for now
