Sketch Saturday

I had a make a card for a friends mum, who is going to be 80. She told me she likes cats and loves knitting. So I thought I would use an image  I have had for god knows how long and never used. At the same time I would use Sketch Saturdays Sketch.

I made the knitting embellishment using cocktails sticks, which I cut in half and added a pearl to one end.
I them sanded the other end to a point. then set to work and knitted a few rows. which I can tell ya was not easy.

Ingredients

Mo Manning digi image - Sinatra
Bearly mine plaid paper
Pink petticoat vintage rose papers( freebie papers from quick cards mag)
Cocktail sticks for the knitting needles
Pearls and wool from stash.

Challenges I am entering this into

Fingers crossed my friend likes this card.
Thanks for stopping by. hope you all manage to have a good weekend despite the wet weather.
