Christmas cards

Well I am in shock myself with these ones,as I dont start my christmas cards so early. normally its end of september beginning of october before I get in the mood.
Anyway I had spent some time last week playing with a christmas tree stamp that I have had since last yr.So I decided rather than put them aside I would get some cards made.

Morning just

just thought I would pop in a say hi. not much card making going on today.At the moment the it is dry out so hopefully will get the grass cut, it needs it badly. although there seems to be more daisies and clover in it. just cut but loads of rubbish around the area that its sams garden.(sam was our dear welsh border collie , we had to have him put to sleep back in march)stinging nettles were over taking. now I have nettle stings over my hands and wrists and I had gardening gloves on.
this evening we are going over to my sister in laws for a BBQ so lets hope the rain holds of till late this evening. well I have just about drunk my coffee, so I had better get out there and carry on. hope Andy aint out to long as he is filling petrol can for lawn mower while he is out.

Rubber stamping efforts

Today we have rain and thunder. not nice, but very warm.
What a better reason to get my craft stuff out.Today I decided right its time I got to grips with rubbing stamping. tried so many times and they always end up in the bin as I wasn't happy with them.but today I am pleased with the out come that I actually made some cards.
The garden gate and camellia cards I have had these stamps since may . and the PD one I got free with a craft mag.

Embossed, vellum n fred

I know you are probably thinking not more of Fred's flowers.I'm sure I'm not the only one that really love these flowers. Today I decided to get my embossing stencils and light box out as I hadn't played with them in such a long time.

Diamond card

Good afternoon all. weather here is mixed today, rain and sunshine. sundays just how I like them, relaxing, had a nice cooked breakie this morning, washed up and out came the crafting stuff. using a diamond shaped card (template from the gallery on Imag-e-nation, ty for sharing it cant remember who at this time)more of freds flowers and swiss dots cuttlebug folder.Think I will make more of these diamond shaped cards using other colours of fred's flowers. Need to get my stock box full again.

yuk its wet out

well it looks like the sun has disappeared. its wet and cold here in Hauxton. so pleased I got my washing all done yesterday.
so today I have done a few jobs, nipped and got dog food and treats for Ozzy. He loves his chewy bones which are really helping with his teething at the mo.He has now lost his top front and bottom teeth which are now growing back. bless him. he sits at the mo having a good chew on his bone.
I have today been having a play with decorating a candle. Its going to be one of those things that I will have to play and practice. I have managed to decorate one, but it has run on the edge of the picture. don't know if I used wrong ink or heated it to long. but it was fun. something I wont give up on, practice makes perfect as they say.
this evening we plan on a nice quiet one, Hayley is going on a sleep over and Simon has gone to santa pod for the weekend, there is a ultimate street car show on. There is 15 off them gone together and camping there. something tells me they may be getting wet, and don't think one of them took any coats or waterproofs. but then that is teenagers for you.
Anyway here is my attempt at decorating a candle.




I am pleased with outcome for first attempt but know they can be better.
